On the Job [my style]

Here's what I wore to my first day at my internship! I'll be working at THE Artist Agency this semester; they're a modeling and styling agency in Georgetown. I LOVE it so far. Georgetown is such a fun part of town, and I love the industry I get to be involved with. Oh, and the office dresses casually so no heels required... perfect.

Take a few hints from Alexa Chung to add some spice to hum-drum winter wear.

• Black tights add immediate chic points (and warmth).
  
• You can still wear your shorter dresses - layer them with tights and and long shirts to beat the chill.
  
• Don't forget about denim; even jean shorts can be worn in winter (the more shredded, the better).
• Belting is essential when wearing chunky layers to flatter the figure.
