Lauren Bacall: Inspiration from the 50's

Lauren Bacall's lace wedding dress in How to Marry a Millionaire (1953) is pretty sweet. The off-the-shoulder, the ruffle, the semi-sheer sleeves and the large floral lace. I approve.

love Lauren Bacall. so gorgeous.

The tee is just some big black t-shirt that I had laying around and I took the vogue masthead and painted it on. I saw a vintage vogue shirt on lookbook.nu and loved it, so I just made my own!
here's the post where I made it: http://www.delightfully-tacky.com/2009/09/vogue.html

Hey!

I've entered a contest to win a walk-on role on that retro-licious TV show, "Mad Men".

If you wouldn't mind taking a couple of seconds to vote for me, go to my blog, or copy and paste the following link which goes right to my picture:

Thanks a bunch!
