San Miniato al Monte

In my design class we visited San Miniato, a basilica that overlooks Florence, to gather inspiration for a pattern design. It's an incredibly old church, with some of its construction dating back to 1013! Even with the long hike to the top, this site is worth a visit especially if it's sunny. We weren't in the best luck since it was so foggy that day.

Two of my best friends are arriving this weekend, one from Paris and one from Prague! They're just in time for Florence's Chocolate Festival. Ciao for now!
